A member asked:

I was tested for mg, achr blocking abs 21 (0-25)(most info found said anything over 15) achr binding abs .03 (.0-.24) could this be a positive?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Myasthenia gravis: The test is negative based on the normal reference values for that laboratory used. I wonder if modulating ab, anti-musk and anti skeletal muscles antibodies should be checked. If you have an objective measurable weakness an edrophonium test, or repetitive nerve stimulation can be performed and may be useful in the diagnosis. A single fiber EMG is another diagnostic tool available.
