Yes: Stress can disrupt your menstrual cycle -- making it longer or shorter than usual. You could start your period "early" or "late, " and not be able to predict when it would come next. Stress can even completely eliminate ovulation and menses for a time. Pregnancy is another reason for late or absent menses.
