Yes, but?: Results vary among users of these products. If your teeth are straight and superficially stained these products tend to work quite well. If your teeth are more crooked and rotated the ingredient in the strip may not contact the tooth as well. Also if your teeth have deep staining or are a grayish/blueish color, these products will not work like you may hope they do.

In my experience: Yes on younger teeth (16 - 25) with minimal staining habits (smoking, coffee, wine ...); mildly effective on those in the 26 - 40 age group with similar habits, and hardly effective in the >40 age group. Of course there are always exceptions. A system like tres white (ultradent) or venus trays (kulzer), etc., available through a dental office will give you more predictable results. Hope this h.

Yes. For some people: Whitening strips contain some form of medium that will release oxygen when it comes to contact with wet environment and higher ( body) temperature . Because it is very difficult for most consumers to apply those strips the way that all teeth will be equally exposed to the active ingredient , so the end result in many cases in not what you expect. So most consumers will apply strips again &again.

Whitening strips: Yes they actually work. The over the counter type are a little suspect but those that you can obtain from your dentist are much more effective.
