Whole nine yards: Diarrhea x 2 weeks and now Amoxicillin known to cause more diarrhea. Make sure the diaper area is clean and dry. You need to use a good barrier cream such as desytin. Nystatin ointment/cream can be used to treat yeast infection. Sometimes a touch of Hydrocortisone in the first few days may be needed to suppress inflammation if that is bad. Consult with pediatrician to be on a safe side.
