What would be a good way to convince my parents i need adderall/ritalin/etc. for adhd?

Talk to your doctor: Have a meeting with your doctor and your parents. The doctor can explain the risks and benefits, and answer any questions your parents might have. It would be good if the same person that diagnosed you with adhd could talk to them as well (that my or may not have been your doctor. ).
