Remove piercing: After removing the foreign object clean the area with alcohol and wash the area with salicylic acid wash. Apply acne cream to the area. Avoid putting the contaminated piercing back on your body. Consider getting checked for hepatitis due to the increased risk of piercings and hepatitis as well as hpv and hsv.
