Strengthen tendon: Actually when we prescribe exercises for achilles strengthening we are really strengthening the muscle. The best and quickest exercise for this area are eccentric exercises. These are using the muscle as they are shortening. Space here does not allow a full explanation. Please youtube "achilles eccentric exercises" for some good examples.
