Dental Abscess: The dental abscess can either be coming from a periodontal defect or a non-vital tooth. Both need to be treated before they get worse. In rare instances the infection can travel through your bloodstream to other parts of your body. The sooner you have this problem treated the less chance you will have complications.

Dental infections: Can spread, both locally and through the bloodstream to other parts of the body. While unusual, it can ultimately cause sepsis and even death- both relatively rare! still, nothing to take a chance with. Even if one in million chance, if you are that 1:1, 000, 000 it's 100% to you.
