Abnormal.: "epileptogenic discharge" is one term for the shape of certain brain waves that are often associated with the tendency to have seizures. The temporal lobe is a common area to suffer from that tendency; "bi-temporal" means "two" (both) temporal lobes (there is one on each side of the brain) show this pattern.
