Unlikely: However 1 in every 100 makes up the 1%. Suggest you get a pregnancy test after 7-10 days. Pregnancy in presence of an indwelling paragard is potentially very dangerous. So see your gyn dr. Immediately if pregnancy test positive or if spotting and cramping continue.
