Depends! : Headache is one of the commonest human symptoms. It is a symptom not a diagnosis if it is new onset, severe or associated with other symptoms it should be investigated. Birth control pills can cause a vascular headache in some patients.

Numerous causes: It could mean many things. Certainly, given the anatomical proximity of the pelvic organs to the lower back, lower back pain is often associated with pelvic pain from whatever cause. Oftentimes headaches occur with stress from dealing with ongoing pain or even infection. On the other hand, headaches may be a totally separate issue in a patient that suffers from migraines or cluster headaches.
