Yes, usually: "internal piles" come in grades 1 to 4. One and two are minor, grade 3 needs to be pushed back in and 4 stays out all the time. If you have grade 3 or 4, check with a general surgeon. For grade one or two, lifting and exercise should be fine unless they prompt bleeding. Cut back on the Ibuprofen if that happens and use fiber supplements to bulk and soften the stool. See a surgeon if that fails.
