No, not yet: There is no vaccine in the US against malaria, but people who visit high-risk areas can ask their primary care doctors or travel-medicine doctors for pills to prevent malaria. There are several medications for malaria prevention, even for children. Some are not recommended for travelers with a history of mental illness such as depression.
