Vaginal bleeding: this could represent peri menopausal bleeding. Other causes include fibroids or functional ovarian cysts. If this is is irregular could be caused by vaginitis, cervicitis etc. based on your age however, this is more likely due to the changing patterns of your reproductive hormonal status which is normal. In other to be certain, I recommend a pelvic ultrasound and a GYN exam. Hope this helps
