See below: As an adult, your should not have thrush unless you are immunocompromised, on steroids, or have some other deficiency. You should be checked again. There are many drugs that can be used for fungal infections. Talk to your doctor about this.

See a dermatologist: Maybe the reason it "won't go away" is because it was not treated correctly or perhaps it is not thrush at all.
