Pleurisy: The temporal relationship may suggest these things are related but that does not mean they are...So yes this could be normal in your case but keep a watchful eye out for other symptoms just in case!

No: What was the cause of the pulmonary edema? You are having chest pain which might be cardiac in origin instead of pleurisy. You might have had a clot in the lung with infarction. These are serious matters, talk to your doctor.
