No: Hydrocele is a sac of fluid around the testicle, but you can sometimes have a hydrocele as a result of testicular cancer. Hence advice to have it checked out with an ultrasound.

No: Hydroceles are accumulations of fluid around the testicle. It is a benign condition and does not cause cancer. Since hydroceles are in fact a swelling near the testicle, your doctor needs to examine you to see if this possibly is a tumor. This is easily done. Hydroceles are easily treated.
