You can.: There are sperm in pre-ejaculate so you can get pregnant from that. How risky is it? Well if 100 women use withdrawal perfectly every single time, 4 will get pregnant in any given month. If you aren't perfect? About 27 of those women. So it is about as good as condoms.

Pregnancy possible: Pre-ejaculate may contain large amounts of viable sperm (less common), smaller amounts of sperm that are dead or alive or no sperm. Thus, there is potential for pregnancy with pre-ejaculate. Sperm need to be deposited in the vagina or at the introitus for pregnancy to occur. Use protection every time you have sex if your are not ready for pregnancy. Pull out method is not effective protection.
