NO: Hiv is transmitted through body fluids. These fluids would need to have contact through broken skin or mucous membranes. It is transmitted through sex, sharing needles, breast feeding, exposure of open wounds to large amounts of blood, semen, vaginal fluids, breast milk. Studies of family members living with HIV + family are not at any greater risk.
