Needs doctor: This mother needs a high risk OB doctor -- also known as a specialist in maternal fetal medicine. Hydrops can be life-threatening. The valium part brings relatively low risk of physical malformation, but is an fda category d medicine in pregnancy. Some risk of cleft lip or palate, with risk of some behavioral issues too.
