Not necessary: For most people, eating a healthy and balanced diet is the best way to get all the vitamins that you need. If you are concerned that you aren't getting enough in your diet, then an adult multivitamin tablet once daily is reasonable. I don't recommend other supplements though. They're usually not necessary and can have toxicity just like prescription medications can.
