Scar massage: The use of scar massage as well as desensitization type exercises with progressive exposure to progressive and increasingly noxious stimuli will help minimize pain and build tolerance and limit dysesthesias.

Silicone gel & injet: Usually sign of unstable scar formation. Topical silicone gel coupled with either use of serial steroid injections or use of stromal cells/prp injected into scar base will improve the irritation and quiet the pain. Time usually resolves the pain, but itching or burning sensations usually indicate a poor healing at site, needing some attention from your doctor.
