No different than...: Hiv and aids are treated no differently than other diseases that humans can transmit from one another. If your dental office uses the universal safety precautions the world health organization (who) outlines, the dental office, the dentist, staff, and other patients will be in no greater risk of infection.

Yes: Aids is a blood/fluid borne pathogen. Any procedure that causes bleeding will be a potential exposure. All dental offices are aware and use procedures to minimize the risk to their patients.

Very difficult: There was one case where a dentist transmitted HIV to his patients. This was seemingly intentional. Hiv virus is very delicate when outside of the body. The mildest of antiseptics will kill it. As long as your dentist is following standard infection control protocols it will be impossible to get HIV from a dental procedure.
