A member asked:

What are common side effects that come with hair transplant?

Relatively few: These would be more local surgical issues such as bleeding or infection or scarring at the site of the donor and implanted hair follicles. The procedure is called an autotransplant, so the new hair would not be rejected. Of course it may not meet the cosmetic expectations of the patient and look terrible, as well.

Very few: You can expect very few side effects from hair transplantation other than the usual swelling after the surgery.

Varies: Pain, swelling, infection, wound dehisence, scar and failure of the hair to grow. The incidence varies but on the low side.
