Religious belief: Statements about abortion are fabricated by religious and sometimes political leaders indicating that somehow abortion is against religious dogma. This is used to manipulate parishioners and the political process. If indeed a fertilized egg qualifies as a living human, then since 75-80% of fertilized eggs pass spontaneously making the diety the biggest abortionist. Education is what is needed.
