do people with mycoplasma genitalium have a lot of pain?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Carolyn Thompson

Possibly: This bacterium is found in the genital tracts of women and men and can cause pain with urination and pain with intercourse. It is a suspected cause of pelvic inflammatory disease (pid), which can be very painful. The infection can be treated with antibiotics.
