Need exam: Please see a local health care provider to assess you if you are having bleeding in pregnancy. The only way to evaluate the health of your pregnancy will be with an exam and an ultrasound to look for the baby's heart beat. While bleeding is common, it is not normal and requires an in person check up.

If the bleeding is: More than spotting, you should see your doctor. Minor bleeding in pregnancy is not uncommon due to increased vascularity of the reproductive system. You are likely to be still pregnant.
