Yes: Hormones interact with each other and there a variety of hormone interactions with pcos. Many women with this syndrome have Insulin resistance and have difficulty regulating their blood sugar. The thyroid may play a role but most pcos women have difficulty with their weight due to Insulin resistance and elevated testosterone levels.
