Slowly: Accutane reduces the size of oil glands and also reduces the production of oil while you are taking the medication. Once the course is complete, oil production gradually increases but does not reach the level prior to Accutane treatment. You can use a conditioner if needed to moisturizer the hair but wash it out backwards so that it doesn't affect the face.
