Depends: If it is a vegetation of bacterial endocarditis, it will kill you in a few weeks or months unless successfully treated, and may cause a stroke or something else bad in the meantime. If it is a clacified nodule that many middle-aged folks get, it is something to watch and that may be troublesome down the road.
