No, not unless...: Chronic diarrhea by itself is not an emergency. Weight loss by itself is not an emergency. However, they become an emergency if new or worse symptoms occur due to the chronic conditions finally causing the patient's body to decompensate (such as due to finally not having enough water, nutrients, or calories remaining in the body).

So my last encounter was 3 months ago. Since then I've experienced the following symptoms: weight loss, chronic diarrhea, oral thrush, fatigue. Advice?
Chronic irregular bowels (probably years), floating, diarrhea, no constipation, if formed they are small in diameter (hotdog or little larger) no weight loss, no anemia (blood test came back good) have bad anxiety. Dr said could be IBS?
