Skin lesions: Suspect what you have are cherry angiomas, benign skin growths made of blood vessels; generally they need not be removed except for cosmetic or bleeding reasons. They can be removed by shaving off, burning off, freezing off, or laser. Their cause is unknown but they appear to be inherited. Of course, any skin lesion that changes in character, should be checked by your doc/.

Cherry Angiomas: The lesions you are describing sound like cherry angiomas and hemangiomas. These are benign, inherited lesions. Unfortunately, there is nothing that you can do to prevent them. There are howver several treatments for these. The best cosmetic reults are with laser treatments.
