Many things: Vaginal discharge can be many things. Sometimes yeast can cause this, or BV (bacterial overgrowth). Many sexually transmitted infections (gonorrhea, chlamydia, etc) can also cause this. For discharge that lasts more than a few days, especially if it burns, itches, or hurts, see your doctor.

Depends: Vaginal discharge frequently is normal and requires no intevention. However, it can be a sign of bacterial vaginosis, a yeast infection, or a sexually transmitted disease. It needs to be diagnosed first as there is no "1 treatment fits all" to address vaginal discharge discharge.
