A member asked:

What does it mean when you throw up a lot ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Please don't!: A few complications with repeated vomiting: 1) aspiration of vomit with resulting chemical pneumonia; 2) dehydration and electrolyte disturbances; 3) Mallory-Weiss tears of your esophagus; 4) loss of enamel and increased tooth cavities. Evaluation is appropriate to identify and treat the many possible causes of your vomiting, but please don't self-induce it.
