Pentothal: Sodium Pentothal has been supplanted by propofol. It is difficult for even hospitals to obtain. Of course, a prescription would be necessary.

Controled substance: It is controlled substance and you need to have special license to get it. Also it is no longer available for anesthetic use in the us. Other countries may still have it.
