Depends: It depends on what type of sti you have. If you have hpv, for instance, you can safely get an abortion. If you have active pelvic inflammatory disease, your doctor may want to treat you with some antibiotics prior to performing an abortion. Most doctors/clinics don't require an sti check prior to an abortion, so unless the infection is serious and clinically known, they won't postpone abortion.
