Amenorrhea: There are several causes of secondary amenorrhea "not getting your period once you already had a period." for example, thyroid disorders, rapid weigh fluctuations, an anovulatory cycle, medications, and even anxiety are reasons you may miss a period. If it persists for more than 1 cycle and you are not pregnant, see an ob/gyn for an evaluation. Best wishes.

There are many: There are many things that can cause you to skip periods. The most common (besides pregnancy) are thyroid imbalances, high prolactin levels and menopause. See your gynecologist for testing.
