Check with your doc: Check if you have asthma with your doc. If you really have asthma you may need anti-inflammatory medication such as inhaled steroids. No reason to wait seeing your doc.

Asthma symptoms: People with asthma have breathing problems now and again. Cough, wheeze (high-pitched noise when breathing out), and getting short of breath are all common symptoms. Allergies, smoke, exercise, emotions, acid reflux and strong odors can all cause problems. Each person has their own triggers that set off their lungs. Asthma is very treatable but can be quite serious. Talk to your doctor.
