Yes, but usually...: If it is different by 2 weeks or so from last menses dating, the problem is more likely menses variation. Ob us dating is most accurate between 8 and 13 weeks measuring the fetal crown-rump length. No test is perfect, even at 8-13 weeks with a crl, which is accurate +/- a few days.
