Minutes usually: Reactions to insect stings and foods typically occur within minutes to an hour or so after the actual exposure (sting or eating the food). For reactions that happen many hours or days later, it is very unlikely that it was caused by exposure to that allergen. See an allergist if you have additional questions or concerns.
