Chlamydia: Chlamydia trachomatis is usually trasnmitted through sex, but sometimes babies can have their eye infected with this organism during birth when their mothers are infected as well; chlamydia pneumoniae, can cause pneumonia when the organism is inhaled, this type of chlamydia is not acquired through sex.
