Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) should be enough: The birth control pills prevent pregnancy fairly well but occasional ovulation may happen. The pill is still working and it prevents pregnancy in ways additional to ovulation prevention. It thickens cervical mucous and thins the endometrial lining as well. Emergency contraception should not be needed as long as you have been taking your pills every day.
