A member asked:

I'm 5 weeks pregnant and having moderate cramping should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily...: Abdominal cramping is a very common symptom associated with pregnancy, and can show up throughout pregnancy due to indigestion, heartburn, constipation, as well as pregnancy-specific causes like implantation, uterine growth and stretching. I would not immediately be worried. If it gets worse, or becomes associated with bleeding, see your physician or midwife.
