HSV: HSV1 & 2 are strains of the herpes virus,a family of viruses that can hibernate in your body long term & cause recurrent outbreaks.Most people get simple cold sores, which are a localized process near the lips. It can be caused by either HSV1 or 2. Some get genital herpes again HSV 1 or 2. If a woman has genital herpes for the 1st time while she delivers a baby, that baby could die from bad herpes
