Happy normal flora: We are covered in bacteria. In some individuals oversecretion of oil from the hair shaft feeds thes organisms ; they proliferate and cause odor when they break down the oils while feeding. Try using shampoos containing oil-reducing agents (sulfur, zinc, or tar) ie: head ; shoulders or neutrogena t/gel. If that doesnt work you may have seborrhea w/wo a flora overgrowth ; you need a dermatologist.
