Sacral dimple: There are many kids born with a pit like dimple at the base of their spine called a sacral dimple. This can be quite deep and needs to be examined closely.If it has a tuft of hair or seems to produce any discharge it should be evaluated by a doctor. If it ends in normal skin at it's base it is just a curiosity most kids don't have.
