Yes: There is often a photosensitivity reaction following tanning that should resolve in a couple of days. It is similar to a mild sunburn. Heat rash would be from excessive sweating and could also happen. It is self resolving in about 3 days, after peeling. You can use an aloe and Lidocaine gel on your skin for comfort. You can also pick up warts and bacterial skin infections from a tanning bed.
