A member asked:

What to do if i have a mild case of acne and no medicine is working. what will?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It may not be acne: I'm going to assume that benzoyl peroxide, topical clindamycin, topical retinoic acid, and perhaps a systemic tetracycline or macrolide have all completely failed. If this is the case, i'm wondering if it's rosacea, folliculitis, a heat rash, or i've even seen adenoma sebaceum mistaken for acne. Please get with an expert. Thanks for writing.
