OTC meds: Over the counter, your options are tylenol, (acetaminophen) Ibuprofen (aka advil or motrin), and naproxyn (aka aleve. The latter two are considered better anti-inflammatory meds. There are topical otc meds that may help too, such as aspercreme or capsaicin cream. Ice and/or heat may help as well.
