Why is my stomach bloated with pain and soft in some areas and sometimes short of breath?

Gastritis: May be related to acid buildup "gas" in stomach. The bloating may cause pressure on the diaphragm and lung causing shortness of breath. Try Pepcid (famotidine) and follow up with your doctor.
